Fundamental concepts of android OS and android software platform i.e. Android software architecture, android development tools, activity, view, intent, service, notification, SQLite database, network connection, are covered. • Android software architecture: Linux kernel, runtime, library, application framework and application • Android development tools: android sdk, virtual device manager, emulator and Dalvik debug monitoring service • Application components: Activities, Services, Content providers and broadcast receivers • Ability to work in android development environment and define the broadcast receiver and device configurations. • Describe the design and architecture of a mobile application • Write, compile and debug Android native applications. • Create, select, insert, update and delete SQLite database • Select appropriate technologies and implement for different supported devices(e.g., different api, different screen) to solve real devices.
