In partnership with the School of Information Technology, NUM, and the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of the University of Trento, we are pleased to invite applications for international internships under the Erasmus+ ICM program, hosted at the University of Trento, Italy. This program offers a valuable opportunity for motivated MSc students to gain hands-on experience, engage in academic research, and collaborate with internationally recognized experts.

Location: University of Trento, Italy

Duration: 3–5 months

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Academic Background
    Must be currently enrolled as an MSc student in the Computer Networks or Cybersecurity program at the Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, School of Information Technology and Electronics, NUM. 
  2. Academic Performance
    Maintains a GPA equivalent to 3.5 or higher.
  3. English Proficiency
    •    Ability to: Read and understand technical research papers, Prepare technical reports, Communicate effectively in English
    •    TOEFL/IELTS scores are optional but preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated strong interest in Information Security or working professionally in the field.
  2. Prior involvement in research projects, academic publications, cybersecurity competitions, or similar activities.
  3. Internationally recognized certificates and awards in information security would be considered as an advantage
  4. Students who have identified and contacted a potential supervising professor at the University of Trento will be at an advantage.

    From a professor, advisor, or supervisor familiar with your academic or research abilities.

    Contacted professor’s name and contact of the University of Trento, Italy
